Metoc provides Environmental Design and Risk Management (EDRM) services to add and retain value across a project’s life cycle by understanding how the project affects and is affected by the environment. Our vision is to be “the catalyst for successful resource development in a fragile world”.

We offer expertise into all the issues associated with the interface between projects / assets and the environment and advise our clients on the best way to manage their EDRM issues. Our services are tailored to the full life cycle of our client's assets, from earliest planning through design and consent, construction, operations, decommissioning and life extension. We operate in markets where environmental considerations have considerable impact on project development and asset performance including: oil and gas, water utility, submarine cable, marine renewables, marine aggregates and coastal developments.  We also provide programme management, technical guidance and strategic assessment related services to regulators, government and trade bodies.

Metoc plc is a privately owned independent UK consultancy.  We operate from offices across the UK and with key clients on their international projects.  Metoc has the breadth and depth of expertise to give our clients confidence in our ability to respond to their developing needs whilst at the same time providing the personal attention available from a medium sized service business.
